Athens-Limestone Hospital, a 101-bed, state-of-the-art hospital staffed by more than 700 employees and approximately 150 physicians, is the primary health care resource for residents of Athens and Limestone County. Mother & Baby Services

ALH was the first hospital in North Alabama to offer private LDRP suites designed so that each phase of the birth experience takes place in a luxurious, family-centered setting.

Wellness Center 

Serving the community since 1999 with group fitness classes, childcare, a 75-foot lap pool, heated therapy pool, physical therapy services, cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, and massage therapy.

The centers provide treatment for minor illness and injury while also serving as an occupational medicine clinic providing pre-employment and department of transportation physicals, drug and alcohol screening, workers’ compensation treatment, spirometry, EKG, and pulmonary function testing.
